Soon, Asaduddin Owaisi rushed towards her and asked her to leave the stage. Unshaken, the women continued the slogan. Later police interfered and forcefully showed her the way down the Dias.
Later Owaisi cleared his stand and said,“Neither me nor my party has any link with her. We denounce her. The organisers should not have invited her here [Bengaluru rally]. If I knew this, I would not have come here. We are for India and we no way support our enemy nation Pakistan. Our entire drive is to save India,” the AIMIM MP said.
Owaisi has condemned the act, and it is indeed a serious matter. It questions the integrity of protesters at such events and also raises concerns for national security. Charges of sedition has been filed against the female activist.
